Stainburn taster video, if you where wondering what to expect.

EDIT (by Cheeky Monkey, 11 Sept 2007):

Si B found this one which doesn't show the trail being completely over-biked by something with triple clamps

Well shot video, and nicely edited.
Does give a good idea of what the WBT is all about, although the full face helmet an triple clamp forks do reinforce many peoples misconceptions about Stainburn being for "downhillers".

Slow and technical  It`s a pretty good representation of the Boulder Trail like Si says.

Need to film someone attempting it on a creaking bedpost of a hardtail. I'd watch that. :D

Well done! A nice video but I agree with Simon, triple clamp forks and a full face aren't necessarily needed!!! Nicely done though.

Do you like the new start to the DL ?
We could maybe leave some of the entrance to the 1st right hander unsurfaced to slow riders down.

New start is great - especially now someone's put a rock kicker in under the tree at the top :D

Some good riding on the top one Paul posted. They did that big drop on the Norwood side - something I have yet to do.
The 2nd one is a guy me and Si know .

I thought it was that Jonny but wasn't sure, name and kit make sense now
Is he riding that mega cheap Patriot that he got?

I think so. It does seem to be his weapon of choice for Stainburn now - He said the "Turnip" has retired for duties up there.

Nice video.

I especially like the helmet cam bit at the end. Bit dark though!

haha those riders are just a tad slow lol :o whats with all the people saying the boulder trail is tech i can shread down it verrrrrry quick i find it easy. thats why we need to build a dh track there rather than some easy all mountain ones. all of my friends ride dh in our local area (stainburn/darley) and theres no good dh trails anyware so we all need to get off our asses and build a stonkingly good dh trail there to keep the masses happy.

Thats why we need to build more track there rather than some DH ones. all of my friends ride XC in our local area (stainburn/Otley) and theres no good XC trails anywhere so we all got off our asses and built a stonkingly good XC trail there to keep the masses happy
