Just a quick warning to look out for the broken glass at the top of the red descent line. There is quite a lot (it looks like someone has smashed a pane of glass there) and it is on the trail for the first 30ft or so of the descent.

If you join from the Red loop you won't see it or hit it but if you join from the road you certainly will run the risk of slashing a tyre.

We were not in a position to pick it up/clear it away unfortunately so I thought it best to post the issue here. I just hope some scumbag hasn't done this act of vandalism/fly-tipping on purpose.

Sorry to be the bearer of unpleasant news.

Thankyou, we'll check it out next Trailbuilding Day.

Sunday Aug 1st if your around. Finish the Descent Line and if the weathers good have a BBQ and play on the Pump Track.

Cheers Jason

Knacker and I where up there on saturday, the glass is up by the unoffical start of the descent line, most of it has been moved to the side out of the way of where people wait before starting the DL.

We tried to clean us as much as possible in terms of the small shards but without tools it was a bit tricky.

I've seen glass there before, is it a regular thing? Given the location some people must be willing to go really far out of their way to be arseholes.

There's been broken glass there right from the start, I remember it being flagged up when we first started that line. maybe it was flytipped years ago and just keeps being uncovered with the traffic of bikes.
